Years Racing: 10 years

Favorite Event: Hy-Vee 2012, during the run I chatted with Sister Madonna

Greatest Achievement:  2013 Ironman Wisconsin –the race and the fan support is amazing in Wisconsin but the memories and friendships that were built over that summer while training with other SUX Club members is what pushed me to cross that finish line.

Occupation: Supply Chain Management, spin class instructor, and a wife and mother of two teenage boys, three dogs and a cat.

Favorite Meal: Anything at Panera

Food Indulgence: Starbucks Carmel Macchiato

Favorite Book: Women Triathlete by Christina Gandolfo.

Hobbies: Besides swim, biking and running I love just spending time on our lake skiing, wakeboarding and surfing.  In the winter my energy turns to cross country skate skiing.

Favorite Pre-race Dinner:  Spaghetti with eggplant, kale and turkey meatballs

Favorite Gear: My Easton race wheels

Must Have Race Day Nutrition: Oatmeal with berries, protein, walnuts, banana, cinnamon

Funniest Race Moment:  My water bottle holder (two bottles) fell off the back of my bike at the Liberty Half Ironman.  When I see my friend Michele she yells out “did you lose the a$$ end of your bike?”

Name You Gave Your Bike: never named it but wanted to sell it after the bike portion of Ironman Wisconsin.
